Join us for a Yoga and Walking Weekend at Newfield Hall, Malham, Yorkshire Dales

Venue

Newfield Hall is a grand country house that retains many of its original nineteenth century features, from the grand entrance to the sweeping staircase inside. Located close to Malham Cove it enjoys stunning views from its extensive grounds overlooking the wonderful Yorkshire Dales.

All the ensuite bedrooms have an individual layout and character with TV, digital radio, hair dryer and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. There is Wi-Fi in all public areas and a proper boot and drying room to cater for any type of weather.

Yoga

We will offer six yoga sessions over the three night break. There is no requirement to attend all sessions, you can do as many or as few as you wish.

There is the option to take our yoga classes outside at this venue if weather permits.

All classes will be suitable for all abilities, with equipment and props provided.

Walking in the Yorkshire Dales

The Dales and countryside on the doorstep are a rambler’s paradise, There are lovely villages and exquisite hamlets with fine bridges, legendary dry-stone walls and limestone pavements.  With shimmering waters, gorges and fosses which reflect the ever-changing moods and weather explaining the lure walkers have to visit this rich Dales tapestry.

Friday

Arrival from 4.00pm with afternoon tea

Yoga 7.30am – 8.30am

9.30am meet for walk

We will then do a local walk to the house.  The walks take in many of the highlights of the area such as Malham Cove, Malham Tarn,  Janets Foss, Goredale Scar, friendly wayside ins and cafes and the local market towns of Settle and Skipton.

We plan the walks to be flexible and take account of the groups various abilities.  We have opt out points where people can curtail the walk, enabling you to do as much or as little as you wish.

4.30pm return to house
