Join us for a Yoga and Walking Weekend at Larpool Hall, Whitby, Yorkshire
Venue
Larpool Hall is a Grade II-listed Georgian mansion overlooking the Esk Valley and the North Sea. Located in the former fishing town of Whitby that’s best known for its fish and chips, quaint harbour, and Dracula connections, with all the sightseeing greats within walking or driving distance, including the 13th century Whitby Abbey, the wonderful Whitby Sands, and the 199 Steps leading up to the old St. Mary’s Church.
This elegant property, which sits within 14 acres of lovely grounds, has been tastefully and sympathetically modernised with ensuite bedrooms, comfortable lounges and a very nice relaxing bar. The well-appointed guest rooms are available in three categories (Classic, Premium, and Superior), some of which blend contemporary design flourishes with original features such as fireplaces and exposed ceiling beams.
There is Wi-Fi in all public areas and a proper boot and drying room to cater for any type of weather.
Yoga
We will offer six yoga sessions over the three night break. There is no requirement to attend all sessions, you can do as many or as few as you wish.
There is the option to take our yoga classes outside at this venue if weather permits.
All classes will be suitable for all abilities, with equipment and props provided.
Walking in Whitby
There is plenty of choice for walking, with the fantastic Heritage coastline so close. Travelling south of Whitby on the Heritage coastline includes a lovely section of coast that is one of the finest sections of coastline in England.
There is a bus service along the coast, enabling walks to be shorter, and lots of opportunity to be flexible, so we will endeavour to tailor the walks to everyone’s wishes.
